Digitizing, hooping, placement, thread setup, machine operation, trimming, and inspection.
Inkdnylon accepts customer-supplied apparel and other eligible items for decoration. Any apparel, garment, promotional product, or other merchandise that is not sourced and purchased through Inkdnylon is considered customer-supplied. This applies regardless of where the customer purchases the item or whether another supplier ships it directly to Inkdnylon.
Customer-supplied pricing reflects the complete production service required to convert customer-owned merchandise into a finished custom product.
The cost of professional decoration can be greater than the cost of the blank garment itself. Blank apparel cost and decoration cost are two separate parts of producing a finished custom product.
Every method requires equipment, setup, positioning, machine operation, labor, quality control, and finishing before a decorated product is complete.
Digitizing, hooping, placement, thread setup, machine operation, trimming, and inspection.
Garment loading, pretreatment where required, platen setup, print passes, curing, and inspection.
Film printing, white ink, powder application, curing, transfer preparation, pressing, and finishing.
Screen preparation, registration, ink setup, press operation, curing, cleanup, and quality control.
Whenever possible, the better approach is to purchase your apparel directly through Inkdnylon and add the decoration services you need.
When Inkdnylon supplies the apparel, the production value is built into both the item and the decoration service. The apparel is sourced through Inkdnylon, and the artwork preparation, production setup, machine operation, placement planning, labor, quality control, handling, and production management required for decoration are already part of the decoration service.
This allows Inkdnylon to control sourcing, garment specifications, receiving, production compatibility, decoration, and the overall order workflow from beginning to end.
If the merchandise was purchased outside of Inkdnylon, it is customer-supplied merchandise even when another supplier ships it directly to Inkdnylon.
Customers who do not want to meet Inkdnylon's sourced-apparel minimums may purchase eligible apparel elsewhere and have those items shipped directly to Inkdnylon for decoration.
Those items follow Inkdnylon's Customer-Supplied Decoration Services pricing and production requirements.
Pricing at those levels is suited to high-volume production involving hundreds or thousands of pieces, where setup and manufacturing costs can be distributed across a much larger quantity. Those numbers do not accurately represent the manufacturing cost of producing 1, 5, 12, 24, or 50 decorated pieces. This applies whether the apparel is supplied by Inkdnylon or supplied by the customer. Small and mid-size orders still require artwork preparation, machine setup, placement measurements, production labor, machine operation, quality control, communication, finishing, and order handling.
These are Inkdnylon production methods available for eligible customer-supplied apparel and items. The list below is informational only and is not clickable. Method availability depends on the item, material, artwork, quantity, and production requirements.
