Inkdnylon Custom Apparel
Cancellation, Refund, and Production Authorization Policy
Plain-language policy for invoices, checkout pages, and customer acknowledgements.
This policy explains how payment authorizes immediate order processing, sourcing, artwork preparation, scheduling, and production for custom orders placed with Inkdnylon Custom Apparel.
1. Core Policy
All orders are final after payment is received. By paying an invoice, quote, deposit, balance, or checkout request, the customer authorizes Inkdnylon Custom Apparel to begin immediate order processing, sourcing, artwork preparation, scheduling, and production.
2. Custom and Made-to-Order Work
Many orders are custom, decorated, personalized, or made to the customer’s specifications. Because custom goods and production time cannot be resold or recovered once work begins, these orders are not eligible for cancellation, return, charge reversal, or refund after payment is received, except where required by applicable law.
In the event of a confirmed production defect, Inkdnylon Custom Apparel may, at its discretion, offer reproduction, correction, or replacement of the affected items as the primary resolution.
3. Production Authorization
Payment serves as the customer’s express authorization for Inkdnylon Custom Apparel to immediately purchase garments or materials, prepare artwork, generate proofs, reserve machine time, assign labor, schedule production, and begin partial or full production.
4. Rush and Deadline Orders
If the customer requests rush service, expedited turnaround, a deadline, or priority scheduling, the order may be processed immediately upon payment. Rush and deadline-driven orders require immediate sourcing and scheduling commitments and are not eligible for cancellation or refund after payment is received, except where required by applicable law.
5. Deposits, Progress Payments, and Balances
Any payment made toward an order, whether described as a deposit, retainer, setup payment, artwork payment, partial payment, or final balance, is applied to labor, artwork, sourcing, scheduling, materials, and production commitments. Once received, that payment is non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
6. Changes Requested After Payment
Customer-requested changes made after payment may cause additional charges, delays, or both. Inkdnylon Custom Apparel may, in its discretion, accept or decline requested changes once production steps have started. Acceptance of a change request does not create a cancellation right or refund right.
7. Proofs, Approvals, and Customer Responsibility
The customer is responsible for reviewing quotes, invoices, mockups, proofs, spelling, quantities, sizes, colors, addresses, and event dates before payment and final approval. Once payment is made and production begins, the order is treated as approved for processing according to the agreed specifications.
Any resolution for confirmed defects will be limited to correction or reproduction of the affected items.
8. Delays and Unavailable Goods
If Inkdnylon Custom Apparel cannot ship or complete the order within the promised time because an item becomes unavailable, delayed, or backordered, Inkdnylon Custom Apparel will contact the customer regarding available substitutions, revised timing, or any refund required for unfulfilled items. Nothing in this policy limits any refund that is required by applicable law for goods or services that cannot be provided.
9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If a customer files a chargeback or payment dispute after authorizing production, Inkdnylon Custom Apparel may provide the payment record, invoice, checkout acknowledgement, message history, artwork approvals, rush request, production records, shipment records, and this policy as evidence that the customer accepted the terms and that work began in reliance on payment.
10. Recommended Customer Acknowledgement Language
“I understand that my order is custom and/or made to order. By submitting payment, I authorize Inkdnylon Custom Apparel to begin immediate sourcing and production. All orders are final after payment and are not eligible for cancellation or refund except where required by law. I understand that any confirmed production defects will be resolved through reproduction or correction of the affected items.”
